Flamenco de Leones
Book hereFlamenco de Leones is much more than a tablao: it is a sensory experience that pays tribute to the most authentic essence of Andalusian culture, bringing together the art of flamenco and fine dining. Its culinary offering is a true reflection of the Andalusian spirit: generous, vibrant and full of character. Inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine of southern Spain, the menu offers a refined take on traditional dishes, prepared with seasonal, high-quality ingredients.
The tablao occupies the first floor of the same building as Ramses, directly above Patio de Leones. The entrance is through the Paso de Carruajes, decorated with oil paintings by Iván Floro, the self-taught artist who rose to prominence after illustrating the cover of El Madrileño by singer C. Tangana. The staircase continues upwards in Venetian marble to the Gran Salón, featuring tiles by Sergio Mora, before leading into the main room, which seats up to 70 guests.
Under the artistic direction of Jonatan Miró, two performances take place every evening from Tuesday to Saturday, at 8:15 p.m. and 10 p.m., showcasing different styles of flamenco in a format inspired by the old cafés cantantes, where the very concept of the tablao was born. The menus, each with their own name—Lunares, Duende and Castañuelas—are complemented by a fourth option focused on tapas. Together with other venues belonging to the same group, Flamenco de Leones, Patio de Leones and Ramses form their own small entertainment district opposite the Puerta de Alcalá.
