Book hereNo visible sign, no location tagged on social media, and a private Instagram account that follows almost no one: 61 was built on discretion as its defining trait. It opened in late 2025 at number 61 Calle José Abascal, right in the heart of Chamberí, Grupo Mosh's first venture in Madrid. The interior design, by Archidom Studio, creates a private-club atmosphere with dim lighting and an industrial aesthetic, meant to make anyone who walks in feel they've found something not everyone knows about.
The food is led by Franco Franceschini, the group's executive chef, whose Argentine roots show through in the emphasis on the ingredient itself and on the grill as the central technique. The menu, designed for sharing, includes dishes like the Wagyu milanesa, the Angus entrecôte, sole meunière, and caviar tortellini. But the experience doesn't end with dinner: as the night goes on, the space transforms. The lights dim further, the music grows louder, and the room reconfigures to make way for a signature cocktail menu inspired by well-known works of art, while 61 turns into something much closer to a nightclub. In just a few months it has become one of the most sought-after addresses in the city, drawing figures from sports, music, and film who are looking, above all, for a space free of cameras where they can have a good time in good company. For those who manage to get a table, 61 isn't just a restaurant: it's an entire night told in several acts.
