Bernabéu Stadium
Book hereLocated in the heart of Madrid, the Bernabéu is much more than the home of Real Madrid: it is a global icon that combines history, innovation and entertainment. Opened in 1947, it has hosted some of the city’s and the world’s greatest sporting events and, following its transformation, has established itself as one of Madrid’s top destinations, open 365 days a year.
One of its main attractions, the Bernabéu Tour, offers visitors the chance to get up close to the legend of the club and discover the evolution of a truly unique stadium. Welcoming more than 1.5 million visitors every year (making it one of the most visited museums in Spain), the tour takes visitors on a journey through the club’s history and trophy collection — the only place in the world where all 15 European Cups can be seen — as well as some of the stadium’s most iconic spaces, including the changing rooms and dugouts. It also features interactive experiences such as Real Madrid Games.
The renovated Bernabéu is not only an iconic sporting venue, but also a destination for enjoying some of the finest food and drink. Among its offerings is Bernabéu Market, bringing together more than 20 national and international food concepts under one roof. The experience is complemented by Plaza Mahou, home to an on-site brewery; Arzábal Bernabéu, a traditional Madrid-style tavern showcasing the finest market produce; Puerta 57, one of the Bernabéu’s long-standing gastronomic landmarks; and Starbucks Bernabéu, the only Starbucks flagship store located inside a stadium anywhere in the world.
All this is complemented by a calendar of major events, including NFL games, making every visit a different experience. With several international awards recognising it as one of the world’s leading stadiums, the Bernabéu is redefining the way visitors experience sport, gastronomy and leisure in Madrid.
