Espacio Halmma

Book here

Hammam Al Ándalus has spent decades as one of Madrid's benchmarks for wellness, with locations at Plaza Mayor, right in the heart of the city, and in Puerta de Hierro, in the northern part of the capital. Espacio Halmma is its most distinctive concept: same spirit, new approach. Located on Calle Barquillo 47, in Madrid's Salesas neighborhood, it makes clear from the first moment that it's something more than a spa. It all starts as you walk in and the noise of the street falls away: the entrance space (zaguán), with reclaimed brick walls, pebbles, copper pieces gathered from different corners of the world, and a piece of driftwood pulled from the sea, shifts the visitor into another register entirely. It isn't decoration, it's a transition.

Halmma's philosophy rests on a clear premise: the senses are the most direct route to balance between body and mind, with water as the conduit and massage as the method. Each session is private, a key difference from the traditional spa. The massage rooms, in brick and concrete under very dim light, feel more like an intimate cave than a treatment room. The massage table replaced by a stone structure says it all. Water comes into play before the massage, during, and after: gradual in the Calmma sessions, total immersion in Inunda, falling like rain in the Lluvia experiences. The Massage Masters adapt each session to the person and the moment. No visit is ever quite like the last.

Madrid is a city that never stops. Espacio Halmma is the answer for those who need to reset their rhythm before carrying on: a space where disconnecting is part of the design, and where leaving means returning to the city with a different kind of awareness.
